Why Early Learning Center

Our program is an approach which provides children with educational alternatives and encourages them to begin to take some responsibility for their own learning.  Space and time are flexibly arranged to enable personal involvement and an opportunity to find answers to questions that are important to children.  We believe that “learning is a selective, analytical and powerful process of mastery over an ever-widening world.”  Therefore, social and academic skills are intertwined and often many skills are developed within the context of one activity or project.
